About:
Patient Partners Patient Partners are valuable members of the health care team at Park Nicollet. Patients and family members volunteer their time and perspective to help shape the way we deliver health care. At Park Nicollet, we have 200 Patient Partners who serve across the organization on over thirty advisory councils. These councils provide localized feedback regarding care at various inpatient and clinic settings.

Patient Partners:
Are current or recent Park Nicollet patients, family members or care givers
Share their unique experience and perspective to help us improve care
Should be able to both listen to diverse viewpoints as well as share their insightCare about improving care for all patients and families

What do they do?

Typically, partners serving on advisory councils meet once a month for 2 hours with the opportunity to participate in additional efforts outside of the council meetings. Additional efforts include:

• Participate in quality improvement events
• Share patient/family stories with teams
• Support staff training and development
• Weigh in on strategic efforts that impact the organization
• Provide peer support in specific care areas
