Are you looking for a one-time volunteer event? Well you came to the right place! Pikes Peak United Way was donated a piece of land, and we are going to develop the land into a community center for at-risk homeless women and children.
Right now the land is being used as a dumping ground where people have dropped trash, couches, etc. and we are in need of volunteers to help clean the land. With your help we can clean-up the land, and finally break ground to start building the much needed facility in our community.
What do you say, can you take for the team and lend a hand?
This will be a manual labor volunteer event, and there will be a lot of bending and lifting.
Hey we do provide work gloves!
There will be 2 separate sessions or you could volunteer all day! 8:30am-12:30pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm
