The 38th annual That BIG Book Sale will be held October 11th to the 13th, with our Preview Sale for members taking place on October 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This year's That BIG Book Sale will feature more than 60,000 books, DVDs, and CDs all donated by the community. We are in need of more than 300 volunteers to ensure that it is a success.
That BIG Book Sale will take place at the Omar Shrine Auditorium (176 Patriots Point Rd., Mt. Pleasant). You can sign up to volunteer for a shift at http://bit.ly/2OtFudt.
Volunteer Activities:
- Set up and break down the sale
- Sort and organize items
- Cashier, bagger, and more

Mission Statement
The Charleston Friends of the Library is a nonprofit organization that supports and advocates for the Charleston County Public Library system.
Description
We raise money to fund more than 7,000 programs sponsored annually by the library, including Summer Reading. To accomplish our goal of advocating for and enhancing the library system, we provide opportunities for the community to invest in their public library through donations of time, money, and books.
