Clays for a Cause

The Belton Gun Club is hosting the "Clays for a Cause" sporting clays tournament to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County. The event will engage participants in a round of 100 clays on Belton's sporting clays course.

We need 24 volunteers to help man each of the shooting stations (each station needs one volunteer to operate the thrower, and one volunteer to keep score) and to ensure safety of the participants. These are fairly simple tasks that require very little experience. We can train you the day of the event.

We also need 4 to 6 volunteers to assist with registration, sign-in, and raffle ticket sales. This position will involve meeting shooters when they arrive, working sign-in, collecting waivers, and checking in returning shooters when they finish.

We would prefer to have volunteers who can work the full day (8:30am to 3:30pm). However, we understand that some of our volunteers may also want to participate in the event. If you would prefer to sign up for a half day so you can also shoot in the event, please let us know.

**For safety reasons, we ask that all volunteers be at least 16 years of age. And any volunteer under 18 must be accompanied by an adult**
