HopeMatch is a non-profit serving the working poor or those going through temporary challenges in the Greater Charlotte, NC area. We have a holiday program where we match families in need with sponsors who provide them personalized Christmas presents.
In addition to gifts, we partner with an organization called Christmas Tree Santas who provide live Christmas trees, a tree stand, and handmade ornaments to many of the families we serve. If the families we serve would like a tree, they will have to pick it up from Christmas Tree Santas location.
We are looking for a volunteer to commit to helping us distribute the tree vouchers by email and also be willing to call all the families who signed up for a tree the day before to remind them to pick up their tree and make sure they got their voucher.
The volunteer for this role needs to be organized, efficient, and have the ability to work on their own. Also, the person needs to be computer literate and able to use Google Drive to update a spreadsheet of their progress. The volunteer needs to be willing to use their own phone and computer for this role.

Description
HopeMatch is a local charity serving those who are unseen and underserved in the Greater Charlotte, North Carolina area. We started as a Christmas program, but have grown into much more. While our Christmas program of matching local families in need with people who want to provide personalized Christmas gifts and encouragement to their neighbor is still the heart of what we do, we have expanded our services to address the growing needs of the families we serve. Throughout the year, you will find multiple ways to give financially and volunteer, all while making a lasting difference in your community.
