Together, we can Save Them All

At the NRG Arena, Best Friends is currently caring for nearly 400 dogs and almost 75 cats displaced by the storm with the help of approximately 100 volunteers daily.

  • Volunteers are needed everyday to help with:
    • Dog Care Support
      • shift times: 8-11am and 3-6:30pm
    • Cat Care Support
      • shift times: 8-11am and 4-6:30pm
    • General Operations/Floater
      • shift times: 9am-12pm, 1-4pm, 4-6:30pm
    • Greeter/Volunteer Coordinator
      • shift times: 8am-12pm, 12-4pm, 4-6:30pm
    • Skilled Dog Handlers
      • shift time: 8am-6:30pm
    • Vets
      • shift time: 8am-6pm
    • Vet Techs
      • shift time: 8am-6pm
While we welcome volunteer support everyday, we especially need help Monday-Friday.
