Mission Statement
Project YES Africa (PYA) works to ensure that children in South Africa have access to a quality education.
Description
Project YES Africa (PYA) is a U.S. based non-profit organization that provides direct support and partnerships with existing resources in South Africa to ensure that every child-regardless of circumstances, gender, or ethnicity-has access to a quality education.
Education that is directed at the earliest ages to the development of the child’s personality, talents and mental and physical abilities, and that continues from primary through secondary education, can transform lives, break the cycle of poverty, and empower children to develop to their fullest potential.
Project YES Africa targets its efforts towards the development and education of school-aged children in South Africa. Whether it means building child-friendly schools, providing educational materials, training teachers, or providing funding for care-Project YES Africa will do whatever it takes to support a child’s right to quality education.
Through education, we can help lift the children in South Africa out of poverty, and with them, their families and entire communities-for now, and for the future.
