Support and help teams in Utah for the FIRST Lego League Programs: http://weber.edu/first

We will need help with logistics, scheduling, advertising, etc. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with kids and wants to serve their community.

Some tasks include hosting and supporting outreach events, expose, and demonstrations to increase awareness of STEM programs among the underrepresented/underserved.

No programming or STEM experience necessary.
$9/hr or a school voucher for a year of service.

Description

AmeriCorps VISTA engages more than 8,000 individuals annually to support community efforts to overcome poverty. AmeriCorps VISTA members serve full time for a year at nonprofit organizations or local government agencies to build the capacity of these organizations to carry out programs that alleviate poverty.
