Native Garden Workdays:
All Volunteers must complete an application and background check for participation in events at Stage Nature Center.

Spring 2019 Workday: Saturday, April 27 from 9:00 am - 12 Noon.
Tasks:

  • Hauling and spreading Compost & Mulch
  • Staking protective fencing
  • Pulling Non-native, invasive plants such as Garlic Mustard
  • Plant tagging and ID
  • Photographing
Bring work gloves and any gardening tools useful for the tasks above. (Some tools will be provided)
This program qualifies for Master Gardener-Oakland County Volunteer Hours. (Approved by MSUE Master Gardener Program). Contact us to learn more about how helpers can earn Master Gardener credit.
