We are looking for five committed women who identify as Christian, to join the Planning Committee of the SoulDeevas Christian Women's Networking Association.

We have not officially launched the Association and the Planning Committee will work with the President to set the agenda for the upcoming year, and will also plan events, service projects and activities that would benefit Christian women on a national/international scale. For this reason, we accept women from all over the world.
Because this is a planning team, the five women who are appointed to the Committee will not be responsible for dues for as long as they serve on the Planning Committee. We ask that you serve from the day that you are appointed until the following June. You can elect to renew or leave at that time. Of course, you can leave whenever you need to.
The Committee will convene monthly by conference call and will work faithfully with the New York and New Jersey Chapters. Women on the National Planning Committee will be responsible for helping us understand the needs of women in their territories and work with us to develop a plan to support those needs. Ultimately, when we feel that our program is strong enough, members of the national committee will work to engage other women in their communities and can elect to either lead that chapter, or work with us to identify a leader for that chapter. We will plan an annual convocation for our membership and it is hoped that members of our National Committee will be able to attend as they are able.
While Planning Committee members must identify as Christian, church membership/affiliation is not required. Interested candidates will be asked to complete an application and to join us for our first conference call on Monday, October 23rd at 7:00pm EST.
Candidates can also schedule an individual conference call to answer other questions (or can continue to commune by email) to help them make an informed decision.

Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
