We are looking for five committed women (ages 18-older) who identify as Christian, to join the inaugural chapter of the SoulDeevas Christian Women's Association.
You may learn more about the SoulDeevas by visiting www.souldeevas.com and to see the activities that the organization aspires to do but with the holidays approaching, we have a couple of service activities that we would love to engage the Women of God in.
In addition to service projects, the NYC membership will work with the President to plan events, service projects and activities for 2018 year.
The Committee will convene monthly by conference call and will meet in-person on a quarterly basis at a time that works best for the majority of the group. Meetings are generally at the President's office in Chelsea (29th/8th).
While members must identify as Christian, church membership/affiliation is not required. Interested candidates will be asked to join us for our first conference call on Monday, October 23rd at 7:00pm EST.

Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation.
