Please visit the new page to apply.
We are looking for committed professionals to serve as members of the Board Nominating Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New Jersey and New York. Church/Christian affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity. The schools are anticipated to open in September 2020.
The Board Nominating Committee will be tasked primarily with developing all of the policies and procedures for the inaugural Executive Board for the schools. The Nominating Committee will establish criteria for Board membership and will identify recruitment venues for potential Board Members and will also vet candidates applying for Board Membership. Once the Committee is appointed, they will work to vote on a Chair among them and that Chair will represent the Committee at quarterly Board meetings.
We are looking to recruit seasoned professionals who are experts in law, law enforcement, finance, technology, business, nonprofit, ministry, politics, media, medicine and other areas who will be capable of governing the schools, as well as raising funds to support the schools. We are hoping that the Board will begin to meet in March or June, 2018 - at the recommendation of the Nominating Committee.
Candidates for this role must have achieved at least a Bachelor's Degree and must have significant experience in their field and in the community.
Committee meetings will begin in October and will be done primarily by conference call. Should there be a need for an in-person meeting, the committee will make that determination at the appropriate time.
Interested candidates are asked to send a resume and cover letter to kingdomcityfellowship@gmail.com. We will NOT respond to inquiries that come without a resume and cover letter.
