ORGANIZATION: Friends of MJHS

We are looking for committed professionals to serve as members of the Finance Planning Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New Jersey and New York. Church/Christian affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity. The schools are anticipated to open in September 2020.

The Finance Planning Committee will be responsible for developing and overseeing the financial programs, policies and procedures for each school. Working with other committees, they will work to ensure the proper distribution of finances and for monitoring spending. The committee will work to establish scholarship programs and an endowment fund for the schools and will also identify the staffing needed to be responsible for day-to-day budget management. The committee will also work to identify an independent auditor and will oversee preparation of the schools' taxes.

Candidates with significant experience in finance and audit are strongly encouraged to apply. CPAs strongly preferred.

The next committee meetings are being scheduled for October and are done primarily by conference call. Should there be a need for an in-person meeting, the committee will make that determination at the appropriate time.

Interested candidates are asked to send a resume to kingdomcityfellowship@gmail.com. We will NOT respond to inquiries that come without a resume.
