If you love children's books, enjoy picking out just the right book for a child, and don't mind getting lost in the stacks, then we have a volunteer opportunity for you!
We're looking for a couple of volunteers to help us serve the teachers and children of Skokie by selecting books and other library resources for classrooms across the community.
The ideal volunteer will have a basic knowledge of child development and a familiarity with children's books.
We ask volunteers to commit to two hours per week; however the need for assistance will vary in accordance with the number of resource/theme bag requests received.
