We are looking for a committed professionals to serve on the Facilities Planning Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New Jersey and New York. Church/Christian affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity. The schools are anticipated to open in September 2020.
The Facilities Committee will be responsible for developing and overseeing the initial search and purchase/rental of school facilities in New Jersey and New York and will also oversee appropriate renovations and other facilities projects. The Committee will make sure that both facilities meet/exceed the applicable local, city, state and federal requirements.
Candidates with significant experience in facilities, real estate, construction and architecture are strongly encouraged to apply.
The next committee meetings are being scheduled for October and are done primarily by conference call. The committee will determine when it needs to schedule in-person meetings.

Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
