We are looking for a committed professionals to serve on the Marketing Planning Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New Jersey and New York. Church/Christian affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity. The schools are anticipated to open in September 2020.
The Marketing Planning Committee will be responsible for developing and managing the overall marketing strategy for the schools. They will also oversee the public relations, branding, social media, press and community relations activities for the schools. They will also ensure that the schools' marketing practices (service announcements, brochures, and other marketing materials) are governed by the applicable laws, regulations and standards of acceptable marketing, such as those promulgated by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Candidates with significant experience in marketing/development are strongly encouraged to apply.
The next committee meetings are being scheduled for October and are done by conference call. We do not anticipate any "in-person" meetings until the schools are nearing opening; however, should one be called, members have the option of participating by conference call.

Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
