Client Rides
ORGANIZATION: Western Dairyland Homeless Services
Please visit the new page to apply.
Western Dairyland houses many homeless clients throughout the year. Transportation is often an issue. People need to go to doctor appointments, get groceries or go to the food pantry, transport their kids to school and are often on the go. We could use volunteers to assist them with giving rides to their various appointments. Volunteers would need to have their own vehicle, insurance and updated driver's license. Rides would be needed for clients who are unable to take the bus or find an alternative means of transportation. All volunteer drivers would be given any pertinent client information (after a release is signed) prior to working with them. This opportunity would be helpful to clients in their everyday lives. References may be requested if you are applying for this position.
