Management:
Complete operational tasks associated with the day-to-day operation of the non-profit:
- Work with RSVP/Programs Director to identify operational projects including updates, repairs, etc.
- Lead one operational project
Budget Development and Management:
Create 2-4 tasks associated with developing the annual budget and/or specific budgets for a program, program service or proposed program/service addition:
- Work with individual program leads to create program specific budgets
- Create annual budget per program and operational needs
- Identify funding gaps and create mitigation plans
- Develop monthly operational budget reports
Fundraising:
Complete 2-5 different tasks associated with fundraising:
- Complete one public outreach activity to increase volunteer/donor membership
- Assist in or complete the research and writing of at least one grant
- Create and implement one new fundraising idea or edit to a current fundraising effort to improve net outcomes
Program Development and Implementation:
Complete 3-5 different tasks associated with program development, implementation, communication & evaluation:
- Co-plan and direct one program
- Create and/or update program or program event plan
- Create and disseminate appropriate communication materials
- Manage set up and breakdown of event promoting volunteerism and/or services
- Oversee activity on event day
- Perform a pre and post event evaluation/review
Public Relations:
- Work with staff and marketing interns to create marketing, advertising, or general communication material to promote SRIV and/or its programs/events working under the direction of the Executive Director and SRIV's Marketing Committee
- Develop a press release, newspaper or web article, website update, sign, etc. around an event or SRIV's programs and value to the community at large
- Deliver a presentation to a community group or school to promote events, increase volunteerism and/or philanthropic support
