The ALS Association Greater Sacramento Chapter provides services and support to ALS patients and their families, advocates for patient care and funds research. The Walk to Defeat ALS is our biggest annual fundraiser. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at the Walk. Some job examples are set-up, clean-up, walker check-in, t-shirt distribution, VIP area, kids area, and course monitors. Shifts start between 6:30 am and 10 am with a few starting at 1-2 pm. Each shift will last 3-4 hours.
