Join Community Food Share in our fight against hunger and help glean on farms throughout Boulder County!
If you enjoy spending time outside in that great Colorado sunshine, this is a wonderful opportunity to care for your community. We need you to help bring local, organic fruits and vegetables to individuals that need it! The gleaning volunteer team will work on local farmers in the Boulder County area to help glean and cull produce.
In partnership with nonprofit Earth's Table, we also have plenty of opportunities to aid community gardens with seeding, planting, composting and other maintenance work. For more information on Earth's Table, email talktoearthstable@gmail.com.
All garden and glean time opportunities occur March-November 2018. When you sign up, you will be put in our Garden Share volunteer network to be contacted when needed. This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity.
Duties: Harvest produce at local farms - occasionally using various types of equipment.
Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift and bend, work in outdoor environments, and maintain a positive attitude.
Dress: Please remember to wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes to be working outside. Don't forget a water bottle!
