About
You can make a difference in an individual and a family by teaching an adult to read. Glendora READS! sees positive change in learners and families. Help an adult increase literacy skills, confidence and reroute their life path. The unexpected is that your life may change, too.
Training
No experience is required. Literacy Staff trains you, and provides continued support, to work one-to-one with an adult who wants to read, write or spell better. All materials are provided at no cost to you or the learner.
When
Meet once or twice weekly during library hours to study for 1.5 - 2 hours. You and your learner will set a repeating schedule at a time convenient to both of you.
Required Training
Please get in touch about the date of the next training.
