Changing a life, one-to-one

About
You can make a difference in an individual and a family by teaching an adult to read. Glendora READS! sees positive change in learners and their families. Help an adult increase literacy skills, confidence and reroute their life path. The unexpected is that your life may change, too.

Training
Literacy Staff will train you, and provide continued support, to work one-to-one with an adult who wants to read, write or spell better. All materials are provided at no cost to you or the learner.

When
Meet twice weekly during library hours to study for an hour and a half. You and your learner will set a repeating schedule at a time convenient to both of you.

Fall training will be:
Saturday, October 6, 2018
9:30 am-3:30 pm
Glendora Public Library
Friends Room
140 S. Glendora Ave.
Glendora, CA 91741
