We are looking for community members to volunteer to serve on our governing board. The board meets monthly for up to 3 hours. In addition, board members may have other projects and responsibilities outside of the monthly meetings.

The mission of Cesar Chavez Academy Denver is to prepare Denver's children for success as young scholars, citizens of the world and community leader by providing them with an ambitions academic program in a supportive and challenging learning environment.
Description
Cesar Chavez Academy Denver was founded in 2009 to serve the community of NW Denver. CCA has a very strong community of staff, family and board members. CCA believes very strongly in setting students up for success by providing rigorous academics. CCA is facing many changes: demographic changes in the neighborhood, possible transition to a new school model and difficulty showing success on PARCC, the state test. In the face of these challenges; the staff, students, families and board remain committed to providing students with a great education.
