You're invited to make a difference in your community by assisting with this year's November ICSA Swim Meet. This volunteer opportunity is a great way to make an impact in a child's life and have lots of fun!
As a volunteer, you can sign up for 1 of 3 duties. These are:
- Timer - timing swimmers and recording their times
- Runner- taking cards from Clerk of Course to timers/ picking up cards from timers and dropping off to scoring table
- Ribbon Writers- writing on the backs of ribbons based on the times of swimmers
- 11/18/17 - Optimist Pool -1:00pm - 4:00pm Timer, Runner, or Ribbon Writer
- 12/16/17 - Pullen Aquatics Center - 1:00pm - 4:00pm Timer, Runner, or Ribbon Write
In order to volunteer, you must be at least 15 years old and sign up online. All volunteers will be required to sign a volunteer release form. For those under the age of 18, a parent/guardian will need to sign. Release forms and additional volunteer details will be emailed to all registered volunteers prior to the swim meet.
Please wear sturdy, closed toed shoes and loose, comfortable clothing. It is recommended to bring a water bottle.
Per department policies, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed or lawyer suggested hours.
