Patient Partner

We are currently looking for Patient Partners, or individuals (or family members/care givers) who have experienced care at any of our Park Nicollet locations. There are currently 28 Park Nicollet locations (clinics/hospitals) seeking to add new Patient Partners to their efforts. Patient Partners lend their valuable experience as end users of our care to help us keep valuable aspects of care delivery as well as shed insight on our areas of opportunity.

Patient Partners typically serve on Advisory Councils and commit to one year of service by attending one, 2 - hour council meeting once a month. Typically, meetings occur over the lunch hour or in the evening.


We are currently seeking individuals who:

• Have or are currently receiving care at any of our Park Nicollet locations
• Are solution oriented
• Desire to improve care for all patients/families/care givers
• Respectful of diverse viewpoints
• Are willing to share aspects of their own care experiences.

In addition to serving on Advisory Councils additional opportunities to participate in the organization may be available to you depending on your interest and availability. These opportunities have included:

• Sharing your story with care teams
• Participating in Quality Improvement Events
• Rounding or visiting with current patients in a peer capacity
• Participating in employee training and development
