Project Summary
The Microsoft Access Skilled Project Volunteer will assist Minnesota Children's Museum's IT department with Microsoft Access database work and design. The volunteer will be working on an existing database used by several departments. Modifications and enhancement will be completed per specification by the use of macro development, query development, and report development. Results will be tester and implemented. The project will be conducted in two phases; phase one will include updating the current system, and phase two will include minor clean up and enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit forms used to manipulate and input data
- Create and edit macros to control forms and queries
- Create and edit reports and needed. Test results
Qualifications
- Skilled knowledge of Microsoft Access, including macros, reports and queries
- Ability to follow instruction and ask for assistance and additional explanation as necessary
- Ability and willingness to work independently with minimal supervision
-Desired qualifications include experience with Horizon View, SMTP mail and Exchange Server
