Job Type: Volunteer; non-profit. 4-month commitment

Interlock Media, a socially engaged non-profit documentary production company, is recruiting for the position of Volunteer Associate Producer for a series of short web based videos on Climate Change and new approaches the movement is taking towards real world solutions in 2017.

The producer’s role will involve:

  • Coordinating and motivating a talented roster of editors, motion graphics artists, sound editors, researchers, and production assistants

  • Researching, engaging, and organizing the videotaping of interview subjects

  • Synthesizing and communicating the Director’s vision to relevant contributors

  • Encouraging focus, timely execution, and diplomatic cooperation between all respective departments

Experience in film production required. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude are ideal. Applicants should possess the ability to work independently, remain flexible and take initiative in a resource-limited environment.
