Are you extroverted? We're looking for you! As a Visitor Services Volunteer, you will talk to guests at the entrance to the conservatory as you explain the quarantine protocols; talk with guests inside the Conservatory about the thousands of butterflies we have; talk to guests about the movie playing in the theater; teach guests about the plants in the native butterfly garden; talk to guests about the exhibits in the main exhibit hall, and assist visitors check for hitchhiking butterflies as they leave our tropical conservatory.

We ask for a commitment of at least two 3-hour shifts per month.

You will be standing, walking, and talking. During your shift you may be outside in the native butterfly garden or inside the tropical flight house. You will receive training on all aspects of this position, in particular the quarantine protocols that the Butterfly House is required to follow.

Shifts Currently Available:

Tuesdays 1-4pm

Wednesdays 1-4pm

Saturdays 1-4pm

Sundays 10am-1pm or 1-4pm
