Mission Statement
Mustard Seed Ranch is a charitable nonprofit organization that provides equine assisted therapy and life-experience programs to abused and neglected youth in Southern California and Colorado. Mustard Seed Ranch fills a critical need for therapeutic programs that are often lacking in foster care and group home settings. We provide a safe and nurturing environment and caring treatment that is child centered, family focused, and community based.
Description
We offer free group sessions Monday-Friday during work hours. During these sessions, approximately 2-3 hours in length, we are looking for mentors to work one-on-one with the participants and to assist with the session.
No horse experience is necessary! We just ask that all volunteers be at least 18 years old and submit to a background check.
