Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County
Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County is looking for volunteers to serve as a licensed Notary Public for our Hospice Patients.
If you are not familiar with hospice, we provide care for Snohomish County residents who are facing a life-limiting illness. Patients are cared for in a variety of settings: private residences, Adult Family Homes, Skilled Nursing Facilities, etc. Hospice care addresses the patient's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. Many of our patients are no longer mobile/ambulatory. Your willingness to go to their home to notarize documents can impact their life.

As expressions of God’s healing love, witnessed through the ministry of Jesus, we are steadfast in serving all, especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
Volunteers with Providence Hospice and HomeCare of Snohomish County help provide emotional and practical support to those who are facing a terminal illness. We serve patients and families throughout Snohomish county, wherever they may call home (private residence, nursing facility, adult family home, etc.) Volunteers can serve in their own community. Volunteers may help by providing companionship for patients, respite for caregivers, transportation to appointments, assistance with errands such as grocery shopping, and much more. Complementary Therapists also provide massage therapy, music therapy, animal-assisted interactions, meditation, and other modalities to provide comfort to patients. Volunteers also provide support to our bereaved family members through one-on-one listening support, co-facilitating a children, teens or adult grief group, or as a volunteer at Camp Erin (an overnight, weekend camp for children and teens who have lost a loved one). In addition, volunteers help support our mission through administrative work in our offices.
We'll work with your schedule.
