Are you excited about cutting-edge technology, curious about technological innovation, and passionate about sharing and exploring these topics with the public? What is Reality offers our guests an opportunity to explore leading-edge immersive experiences that technological innovators will showcase throughout the Science Center. From gaming and cinema to medicine, architecture, and education, these technologies are undergoing constant innovation that is happening right in our backyard. What is Reality Volunteers spur discovery of the different approaches local scientists, engineers, and artists take to create the future and delve into existential and practical questions through active interpretation, education, and facilitation of virtual reality gaming stations. If you are open to new experiences, adaptable, available once a week, and interested in helping our guests explore our understanding of reality please mention your interest in What is Reality in your online volunteer application. Current Science Center volunteers are welcome to extend their Field Trip Ambassador, Guest Ambassador, and Science Interpretation Program volunteer role to include What is Reality ; please discuss your interest in this extension role with your direct supervisor.
