Are you a college student looking to provide service to your community? Do you enjoy talking to new people and providing emotional and social support? Are you interested in learning about careers in healthcare?

The Regional Rehab Center at Phoenixville Hospital: Our Mission is to use a collaborative, individualized approach to help individuals impaired by accident, illness, injury, or disease return to their highest level of independence by optimizing skills and activities used in everyday life.

While our therapists and medical team are providing treatment to our patients, they are in need of both social and emotional support to increase their well-being and improve their health outcomes. As a student volunteer, you will be able to engage patients in recreational activities, provide companionship and support. You will also have the opportunity to work with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapist, nurses, social worker and medical director.
