SOAR Fox Cities is a non profit organization based in Appleton. Through a variety of different programs we provide engaging social, recreational and educational programs for people with developmental disabilities in our community.
Our Program Volunteers work directly with our staff and program participants, providing hands-on support, socialization and encouragement. Activities include things like crafts, games, cooking and baking classes, dances, bingo, art, seasonal activities and more!
This volunteer experience may be a great fit for you if you:
- Love interacting with people
- Enjoy helping individuals with a diverse range of abilities
- Want to learn more about working with people with developmental disabilities
- Are looking for a flexible volunteering schedule
- Have some afternoon/evening availability and can volunteer for a couple of activities per month (most activities are between 1 and 3 hours long)
