Our Adult Programs Coordinator will be going on maternity leave in October. She is in charge of teaching classes - both technology based (Facebook, iPad, etc.) and crafts, along with evening programs.
If you have a skill that you would like to share with the community, we would love for you to volunteer. It can be Monday-Friday, or Sunday. Typically anywhere from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Examples of classes you could teach are:
Sign Language
Quilting/Sewing
Computer (typing, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Basic Computer Knowledge (How a computer works)
Internet-Based Skills (How to start a blog, how to write a blog, etc.)
Crafts (the materials would be provided by the students)
Current classes that are taught, to give an idea:
Spanish
Piano Basics
LinkedIn 101
Facebook 101
iPad Basics
