ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics North Carolina

Do you love Bocce? Have you played or officiated in the past? Do you want to get involved with Special Olympics? Join us for our Fall Tournament in Indian Trail, 15 miles southeast of Charlotte.

We will have 12 courts and need knowledgeable volunteers to ensure a quality competition. We also require volunteers who are patient and enjoy working with our athletes and a diverse group of people. Advanced training is required.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round athletic training and sports competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families and other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
