The Yolo County Library is seeking a volunteer who is interested in creating these materials to promote library programs and services to patrons who visit the library in person or online. The ideal volunteer is someone who is dependable, detail oriented, computer savvy, skilled in Microsoft Publisher and can create flyers, brochures, bookmarks and posters. Sample duties include making packets and copies, creating layouts for flyers, reviewing items for spelling and grammar, and other duties as needed. The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and prioritize work while working quickly. This position is ideal for someone who can volunteer 8-12 hours a week.
Come join the marketing and publicity team and create a portfolio of work that you can use to promote yourself to future employers. All interested volunteers will be interviewed and fingerprinted (at no cost the volunteer).
