Every Tuesday Community's Child delivers groceries to seniors. We need individuals or groups to assist us with picking up the bags of food, loading them into your vehicle, unloading them and delivering to the seniors at their homes. This is a weekly opportunity. Must have a good driving record and must clear a background check.
If interested please contact Community's Child.

There is also opportunity every Friday to deliver groceries to elementary age children at local Torrance schools. volunteers are needed to pick up the bags of food, load into your vehicle, and then unload and deliver to a local school. This is a weekly opportunity. Must have a good driving record and must clear a background check. If interested please contact Community's Child.

School deliveries end on June 10, 2022 and will resume in September 2022.

When responding please be clear if you are interested in delivering to Seniors or to Schools.

Description

Community's Child is a nondenominational Christian program committed to providing homeless women with infants healthy alternatives to abuse, poverty, addictions, and hopelessness. The program offers homeless women and their infants a safe, compassionate, yet structured living environments. At Community's Child, women acquire the education, skills training, employment opportunities and support services, necessary to break the patterns associated with homelessness.
