We need friendly volunteers to help at CASA’s 14th Annual CASAs for KIDS Classic Golf Tournament on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Would you like to join in the fun? This year’s tournament will be held at the beautiful Stonebridge Ranch Country Club - The Hills Course here in McKinney, TX. (5901 Glen Oaks Drive, McKinney, TX 75070).
You can volunteer for the entire day or we have various time slots available also. Most shifts will be around 3-4 hours. To provide trained community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in the court system.
Description
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Collin County is appointed by District Court Judges to serve as a voice for children involved in the court system because of child abuse and neglect. Volunteer Advocates speak up on behalf of children throughout the court process, with the goal of ensuring that children's best interests are served and that each child is returned to or placed in a safe, loving home where he or she can thrive.
