Haunted House Horror Crew Needed at Naumkeag (The Trustees)

The Trustees will have TWO haunted houses in Western MA this year: 1) William Cullen Bryant Homestead in Cummington with the theme of scary American literature, and 2) Naumkeag in Stockbridge (more general theme). The evenings of 10/20, 10/21, 10/27 and 10/28 are the dates for both haunted houses. Have magical fun AND support exceptional scenic, historic, & ecological properties at the same time! No acting experience required.

Event Description:
Get ready to run, scream and tremble with fright -- Halloween night is back at Naumkeag! The ghost of the Choate's gardener is back, and he has set a harrowing course through the creaking Carriage House at Naumkeag. Bring your friends and your courage to join the fun.

We are looking for GROUPS of 8-25 (ages 15 or 12+ with parent/guardian) to sign up for one or more nights-businesses, clubs, places of workship, etc. The Trustees will provide costumes. No acting experience required, but a wiliness to be very active in your role is important. Sandwich meal also provided.

Responsiblities:
-Entertain visitors by taking on a scary role (assigned with staff) and performing in assigned location (indoor and outdoor stations)
-Staying in character throughout the event
-Observing visitors for any safety issue (i.e. fainting or going in an unauthorized area)
