Project LIFT is a one-to-one mentoring organization that empowers youth to be self-confident and productive citizens through life preparation and academic support. Project LIFT’s community partners, parents, mentors, and volunteer networks support girls and boys in preparation for their future breaking the cycles of high school dropout, low self-confidence, and lack of pathways to success.
To help kick-off our new program year, Project LIFT will be hosting a career fair at our facility and WE NEED YOUR HELP. Professionals from chefs, doctors, MUA, and etc. give information to students interested in their field and create a simulation of their duties at work in a networking environment. This event will help our students understand what to expect and connect students to employers in specific areas.If interested please email me at sadia@projectlift.org, for more information.

Description
Project LIFT, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, is a performance based mentoring program that provides participants with a personal mentor (Coach) to help them improve their academic performance and enhance their abilities to withstand daily challenges as a teen. During the school year, students attend academic and personal development sessions. During these sessions students focus on their goals and how to achieve them. These sessions provide academic support, mentor and peer accountability, and life skills development.
