Do you enjoy planning and putting things together? Here's a role for you!
The American Lung Association is looking for a group of people willing to help obtain and put together a silent auction at our Cars for the Cure event in February!
The Cars for the Cure event sees nearly 20,000 attendees come for food, entertainment, and, of course, auction items. Currently, we have received great donations such as tickets to Universal, photo shoot gift cards, movie passes, and more!
Your job would be to reach out to businesses around Central Florida and give them the opportunity to market themselves in a positive and giving light. This opportunity is perfect for event management, marketing, PR, and advertising majors!

Description
For more than 120 years, people living in America have trusted the American Lung Association to protect their lungs, whether it is researching treatments & cures for lung disease, keeping kids off tobacco, including e-cigarettes, or advocating for laws that protect the air well all breathe. Because when you can't breathe, nothing else matters.
The American Lung Association's mission is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. We do this through education, advocacy, and research.
More than 20 million individuals each year are helped by the Lung Association's programs & initiatives. We support everyone in this country through education, advocacy, & research. We impact lives by working to defeat lung cancer, championing clean air for all, improving the quality of life for those living with lung disease & their families, and creating a tobacco free future.
