Position Summary:
The website programmer volunteer would help LVM staff update our website with current news,
resources, and contact information. The website is an important part of how LVM communicates
with our tutors and students and presents itself to the world; therefore, keeping the website
relevant and usable is essential.
The position will require a one-time commitment of approximately 4 hours for the LVM staff to
communicate information about our organization and our needs. After that, the LVM staff would
periodically send the volunteer new information that we would like to be added to the website.
This position can be performed remotely, and we are happy to communicate by phone and skype.

This position provides valuable experience for individuals with an interest in the nonprofit sector
and with experience in HTML coding. Volunteers are highly valued members of our dynamic
team and make a significant contribution to our mission of providing high quality instruction to
adult learners in Massachusetts.
The position is open immediately. This position requires a 4-month minimum commitment; the
volunteer position may be extended longer if both the volunteer and LVM staff feel this is
appropriate. The programming volunteer will receive training in LVM’s organization and
mission and will have the full support of the staff, who will clearly communicate our goals and
needs for the website.
