Position Summary:
The student intake coordinator will help LVM manage our student waitlists and interview
prospective learners to determine their eligibility for our tutoring program. This position is vital
to LVM’s programs and helps maintain clear communication with the people waiting for our
services.

Friday, 9 am - 5 pm). The LVM staff is happy to work with the right volunteer to establish a
schedule that is mutually convenient and feasible. The volunteer will mostly work at LVM’s
headquarters in historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston, although occasionally student
intake appointments may be scheduled off site.
This position is a great opportunity for individuals with an interest in gaining experience in the
non-profit sector, adult education, ESOL, and specifically in casework and interacting one-on-
one with our students. Volunteers are highly valued members of our dynamic team and make a
significant contribution to providing high quality instruction to adult learners in Massachusetts.
