Volunteers are needed for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson’s annual fundraising dinner and auction - KidsFest 2017, Oh The Places They Will Go! This one time volunteer service will occur on Thursday, November 9 th from 2-10pm and volunteers can work the entire time or shifts from 2-7 and 6-10. Duties will be centered around event production including setting up/break down of auction items, check in tables and assisting attendees with auction technology on smart phones. While volunteering will be the main focus of a volunteer’s role, they will have time to enjoy the event with great food and entertainment as well at no cost.
In addition to the day of commitment, volunteers will participate in a 15 minute phone orientation in the evening one week prior to the event so they are educated about the Club and what to expect at KidsFest.

Description
Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson (BGCC) is part of the Boys & Girls Club of America movement that provides outcome-based after-school and summer programming to youth ages 6 through 18 years old. In 2016, our Club was ranked as the fastest-growing Club for teens nationwide.
As an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are comprised of twenty-eight locations in Carson, Gardena, Watts, and South Bay of Los Angeles - 1 Clubhouse, 18 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, and 3 high schools.
