The Almaden Community Center’s Harvest Festival is back for its 10 th annual event and is looking for volunteers! Whether you want help with general assistance, our haunted hallway, carnival games, arts and crafts, or pumpkin patch - we need you! The Harvest Festival is an annual event that brings people together! There will be local vendors, a bake sale, silent auction, petting zoo, pumpkin patch and fun activities for the little ones! Volunteer on the date of the event - Saturday, October 21, 2017.
We are currently recruiting volunteers for:
- Greeting Customers
- Set-up and clean-up
- Parking Patrol
- Haunted Hallway
- Tiny Transylvania Town
- Concession
- Carnival Games
- Arts and Craft
- Pumpkin Patch
Responsibilities:
General Assistance: Greet customers when they enter the facility and give them handouts. Help them with general information and direct them to where they need to go. Help set-up and break-down of tables and chairs. Parking patrol of the parking lot.
Haunted Hallway: Come in your scariest costumes! You will be stationed inside our haunted hallway and scaring people as they pass though. You will meet with the Almaden staff responsible for the haunted hallway beforehand and go through our rules and policies to ensure that this will be a fun and successful activity! Almaden Staff will be the guides during each haunted hallway walkthrough.
Activities: Help run the activities and explaining rules to customers. Collect admission tickets before entry/participation.
