Working with the elderly can be so rewarding in so many different ways because they have lived in generations of past having already learned the hard lessons of life. Those generations of people lived in a different time, with different standards, and different ways of living, those differences can teach people today how to live better, more productive lives, at least teaching them the important things in life. The lessons our elderly patients teach our volunteers stick with them long after a patient has died, meaning that those patients can live on in the memories and hearts of the volunteers they touched.

- Dignity Health Hospice is seeking positive thinking individuals of Integrity and Commitment to serve those with a Life Limiting Illness
- Volunteers give the gift of their time and themselves
- Hospice patients need volunteers to visit in their home, wherever that may be
- Volunteers read and write letters, visit with patients, participate in crafts, board games and cards
- Dignity Health Hospice serves all of the Maricopa County Community
