ORGANIZATION: United Community (formerly United Community Ministries)

United Community Ministries is urgently seeking long term volunteers in our food pantry. Volunteers must be able to commit one day a week for three months.
Shifts are available:

  • Mondays and Tuesdays from 1pm-5pm
  • Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays from 9am-12pm or 1pm-5:30pm.

Volunteers would be responsible for stocking, distributing, and recording donation input/output.

Last year UCM distributed more than 600,000 pounds of food to families in the Huntington-Mt Vernon area. Each day we help 80-100 families get food. Our volunteers make this work possible.
