Join the Winooski Community Justice Center in welcoming community members back into Winooski after a period of incarceration. The best way for people coming out of incarceration to be successful is to enter into a supportive community. Our goal is to create that space by coming together once a month to get to know fellow community members, learn about community events, and do an activity together.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Winooski Community Justice Center is to offer a restorative approach to conflict and crime.
Description
We assist community members with information, referral, and access to other community resources. The Winooski Police Department, through its Community Justice Center, supports active involvement by Winooski citizens in resolving conflict, preventing crime, and providing support to individuals affected by crime. The Winooski Community Justice Center is dedicated to offering restorative approaches to community conflict and crime in Winooski.
At its core, restorative justice is about viewing crime as a harm to people, relationships, and the community. It focuses on meeting the needs of those affected (affected party), and holding the person responsible for the harm (responsible party) accountable for their actions and impact.
