Garden Help! Woodland Avenue Garden
Are you looking for a way to make a difference locally? Park Heights Community Health Alliance (PHCHA) has two garden sites and we are looking for volunteers to assist us with planting our site at 3300 Woodland Avenue, Baltimore MD 21215.
PHCHA provides fresh food to residents of 21215 zip code and other parts of West Baltimore. Our mission is to bring locally farmed food to people at free or highly reduced cost but this only happens through volunteers like you.
No gardening experience required, we will guide you through and any all help is appreciated. This is family-friendly environment and community service groups are welcome.
Check out our website at www.phcha.org for more information about our programs. If you have questions contact Floyd at floyd@phcha.org.

Location:
4151 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215, US
Mission Statement
Our mission is to collaborate in the improvement of the health of Baltimore's Park Heights community through wellness initiatives, health education, environmentalism, and service.
Description
The Park Heights Community Health Alliance (PHCHA) was organized in 1996, in a partnership between Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and a handful of concerned Park Heights community residents. The Park Heights community is disproportionately affected by a variety of negative health status indicators. In collaboration with community partners such as Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Park West Medical Systems, and a host of others, we seek to have a positive impact on the community at large.
PHCHA is committed to improving access to primary care for residents of Baltimore City. PHCHA's goal is to help maximize the Park Heights community's potential as a healthy, safe, and vital neighborhood.
