Come help Locust Grove Nature Center show our visitors everything there is to know about apple cider, apple varieties, and apple history. We will be offering samples of lesser-known apple types, and letting our visitors try their hand at pressing cider!
Volunteers help with setup, event activities, and cleanup. Training will be provided on the day of the event.

Description
Our agency is located just north of Washington D.C., and was originally created to protect the stream valleys around the D.C. area. We have grown into a 34,000 acre park system with over 400 local, urban and regional parks; recreation centers; ballfields; playgrounds; nature centers, a botanic garden and over 200 miles of trails.
