Millions of Americans live in poverty every day. Many more have incomes above the poverty line, but their incomes are still low enough that they can't afford basic needs such as food, decent housing, or quality child care. A Poverty Simulation is designed to help participants begin to understand what it might be like to live in a household struggling to survive from month to month.

In order to facilitate this event, volunteers are needed to play the roles of businesses and services in the simulated community. No experience is necessary. Instructions will be given prior to the event. Sign up today!
